This program is for Illinois residents only.  If you live outside of Illinois, here's a handy link to the list of Tech Programs in other states.

Tech Connect's Information and Assistance Program can give you valuable information about technology for Illinoisans w/disabilities. . . viable alternatives, where to find them, how much they cost and more.

We have access to several databases (one with more than 20,000 specifically designed tools for people w/disabilities!).

Let us help you:

  • find specific devices. You don't even have to know what you are looking for. When you speak to our helpful staff, explain what you want to accomplish and why you can't do it. They will search for devices, based on your particular need, and come up with options that may help you get the job done.
  • find lower cost alternatives. Tech Connect can help you find the lowest cost device, once you determine exactly what you need. Just let us know what you want and we'll look it up and see who sells it for less.
  • find funding options and strategies. Tech Connect  has experience with many funding options. Let our funding advocate explore possible third-party funding sources with you. While there are not funding sources for every need and situation, there are more than most people know about.

TechConnect  reaches out to individuals typically underserved, including older adults, people in rural areas and Hispanics.
