HOPE (Home Ownership Participation for Everyone) Awards are presented annually through a partnership of real estate organizations.
In 2009, IATP’s Homeownership Coalition for People with Disabilities took home a $10,000 HOPE Finance Award for their work which enables families with disabilities to participate in the American dream of homeownership. Homeownership Coalition Program Director Robin Benson is pictured.
The recipients are chosen from a pool of over 100 applicants and represent individuals and organizations committed to closing the minority housing gap. Awards are presented in five categories including Education, Finance, Leadership, Media and Project of the Year. Winners received a cash award in addition to a $1,500 gift card from cosponsor Lowe’s.
