AG Bell College Scholarship Awards

$500- $2,000

Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must

• have had hearing loss since birth or before acquiring language, with 60db or greater loss in better ear in speech frequencies of 500, 1,000 and 2,000 Hz.
• use speech and residual hearing and/or speech-reading (lip-reading) as preferred form of communication
• be accepted or enrolled in college/university program that primarily enrolls students with normal hearing.

Description

The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) offers several scholarships for undergraduate and graduate study for the 2006-2007 academic year. Scholarship recipients may reapply but may only receive an award twice.
